Sensei Tsukada Course Report

We had another successful course in October with Sensei Ryozo Tsukada. The Friday session was well attended and concentrated on the finer points of punching and close range blocks and counters. This was a theme over the weekend. After training we refuelled with a curry. The Saturday and Sunday sessions continued with the theme of close range blocking and countering against both punches and kicks. On Saturday we covered the bunkai kumites for Pinan Shodan, Nidan and Sandan. Following the session Sensei Tsukada graded Duncan Stewart from Glasgow 4th dan and Isobella Gold from Edinburgh 2nd dan. In the evening we all went for a Chinese meal. The Sunday session completed the Pinan bunkai kumites with Yondan and Godan.
