The GSKA held a fantastic training course and grading with Sensei Calvin Collins (6th Dan) this weekend. Students were taken through Tsuki Waza and katas Tensho and Sanchin, with particular emphasis on proper breathing technique, and advanced kata Kururunfa, All students taking a grading exam were successful and Andy Mauger gained his Sandan Black Belt (3rd Dan) with some very tough kumite included!

Unfortunately, the course on Sunday  17th September has had to be cancelled. The meeting due to be held on the same day will now be held on Sunday 1st October at the Samurai Centre, Kidderminster, commencing at 10.00am.

George Payne invited Calvin Collins to teach a two day course in Haddington and Danderhall on the 24th and 25th June. The course covered Shiho-uke and Sanku, Heiwa Bunkai and kata Nipaipo. Thanks for all those attending and training hard and congratulations to Isabella Gold who attained her 1st dan.
